SASI EM HIGH SCHOOL – TANUKU
Tanuku is a First Grade Municipal Town, located 53 Kms from the District Headquarters, Eluru, in Andhra Pradesh. It is the Mandal Headquarters, and it is the Fifth Largest Town in the West Godavari District. It has a population of 90,430 (Source: 2011 Census), and the Literacy Rate is as high as 80.5 % which is significantly higher than the National Average of 73.00%. This was made possible mainly due to the Primary and Secondary Education provided by the Government, Aided, and Private Educational Institutions situated in Tanuku. Our School, the SASI EM HIGH SCHOOL, comes under the NARAYANA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. It is situated in the Heart of the Town of Tanuku. The town is well connected by Bus Service, to all the 8 nearby villages of the Tanuku Mandal, surrounding the Town, helping the Students easily to commute to the School without any difficulty. The School has been constructed on a vast area of 4441.17 SQ.MT. (1.09 Acres), with a huge Playgound annexed to it.
The School was established in the year 2005 and there are 976 Students currently pursuing their education in our School, right from the LKG up to the 10th Standard, 10+1 and 10+2 Standards. They are being enthusiastically instructed and guided by a Team of 48 Well-Qualified and Dedicated Teachers, suitably assisted by 8 competent Administrative Staff Members. The Students are being carefully groomed both in the Curricular and Extra Curricular activities.
